Full Job Description

The main purpose of the ETF Channel Marketing Assistant Trainee is to support the global marketing team of the ETF, Indexing and Smart Beta business line as it focuses on ambitious international growth. The role will report to the Head of Brand & Channel Marketing.

This function is responsible for the shaping and implementation of regional/local marketing strategies and the roll out of strategic marketing campaigns in countries across the entire Marketing spectrum.

This is a very versatile role providing exposure to the breadth of ETF marketing across various channels. It offers a great opportunity for a graduate to get to grips with Marketing operations. The Channel Marketer Assistant will support Amundi ETF's pan-European team gaining exposure to a variety of markets across Europe and their local specificities.

The main responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Contribute to a wide array of Marketing activities including client event management, clients emails and automation, 360 campaigns including digital and marketing literature adaptation.

  • Assist the Amundi ETF Channel Marketing team across Europe.

  • Assist Channel Marketers with event planning and logistics whether in the Digital or physical space.

  • Contribute to planning and management of third party/sponsored events (speakers coordination, conception and set up of exhibition stands, promotional materials, social media, website updates).

  • Contribute to proprietary event management notably in the UK and the Nordics (venue sourcing, speaker coordination, content coordination, invite and registration process etc).

  • Contribution to and adaptation of marketing materials (passporting checks, adaptations, disclaimers, translations) for selected countries.

  • Assist Channel Marketers with the planning of email campaigns, conception of web user journeys and trigger campaigns using Marketo automation platform

  • Manage campaign design, smart lists and sends from Marketo including weekly newsletters and ad hoc client communications.

  • Get exposure to advertising strategy.

  • Get exposure to media buying strategy.

  • Get exposure to social media campaigns.

  • Contribute to the regular production of various web and email analytics reports and identification of key learnings.

  • Contribute to managing our marketing collaterals internal platform and collaterals.

  • Demonstrable being enthusiastic, inquisitive and interested in Investment Management.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.

  • Highly organised with excellent abilities to multi task.

  • Excellent time management skills and a team player.

  • Proactive and entrepreneurial, at ease with developing ideas and assuming responsibilities

  • Detail oriented with good organisational skills

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) suite of applications and creative tools such as Canva

  • Preferably someone with experience/Interest in digital automation tools such as Marketo/Eloqua etc

  • At all times the role holder will adhere to FCA and SMCR rules as well as the Company's policies and procedures. Where appropriate, the role holder will seek guidance from Head of Compliance, Senior Management or HR.

    Programme information

    You will join as a trainee as part of the Investment20/20 programme. While we can't guarantee a permanent position at the end of the 12 month contract, it is our intention to make an offer to extend a further year, but this is up to how well you perform. 75% of Investment20/20 trainees are offered permanent positions.

    Our traineeship will introduce you to investment management and you will gain industry knowledge, experience and develop relationships enabling you to progress your career and provide you with skills to secure a permanent role. We will support you in achieving a professional qualification if this is something you are interested in doing. As part of the Investment20/20 programme, you will have opportunities to meet and network with over 300 trainees across the industry and participate in socials and insight events.

    Our trainee programme is a fixed term one-year contract. You will receive 24 days annual leave. All roles are based in London.
