Marketing Assistant

Role profile

We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our head office team in Hollingbury Brighton to assist with the creation and implementation of activity to support supplier marketing plans.

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Supplier Marketing Assistant will work closely with the Senior Marketing Executive to implement supplier marketing plans and opportunities for incremental supplier investments.

This role requires strong communication skill to maintain alignment of the execution of supplier activities across marketing, buying, digital, social media, retail, ecommerce and suppliers.,

• Works closely with the Senior Marketing Executive to execute agreed tactical marketing plans for the assigned portfolio of suppliers.


• Develops effective working relationships with the assigned suppliers and be their day to day contact for marketing at Capital.


• Collaborates with internal cross-functional teams to implement supplier-funded and value- added marketing activations


• Attends supplier meetings.


• Uses Emarsys to create audience segments, build and send supplier emails.


• Monitors and reports on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and promotions. Shares insights internally and with suppliers to help develop future plans.


• Works on ad-hoc marketing projects requested through the business as required.
  
  Minimum 1 year in another Marketing role or recently qualified in a Marketing or similar degree.


• Must be motivated and a good team player, but can also work independently.


• Have a keen interest in hair and beauty.


• Keep up to date with hair and beauty trends.


• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Canva.


• Experience with Emarsys desired but not essential.
