The Manufacturing Site Cleaning Manager is responsible for overseeing the cleaning and sanitation operations within our manufacturing facility. This role involves managing a team of cleaning staff, developing and implementing cleaning protocols, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial cleaning, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail., Develop and implement comprehensive cleaning and sanitation protocols for the manufacturing site.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure all cleaning procedures comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
- Manage inventory and procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure cleaning schedules align with production needs.
- Address any sanitation issues promptly and effectively to minimize disruptions to production.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, inspections, and any incidents.
- Train staff on the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, emphasizing safety practices.
- Implement and oversee recycling and waste management programs.
- Respond to emergency cleaning situations and manage cleanup efforts efficiently.
- Continuously evaluate and improve cleaning processes and practices.
- Conducting fortnightly and monthly payroll. Ensuring all charges are accurate and upto date.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Site Cleaning Manager to join our team and ensure our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation., Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing cleaning, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices in an industrial setting.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with facilities management software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of OSHA and other relevant health and safety regulations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the facility for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies, up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.,
