Managing Director - HVAC

We are searching for a talented and proven business leader. This unique opportunity requires a Managing Director to lead a 35 year established contracting business in Portsmouth. The company's core business involves designing and installing air conditioning and ventilation systems as well as providing service and maintenance services.,

• Assume day to day management across all functions; commercial, financial, operations


• Devise and manage long term strategic plan as well as short term objectives


• Lead, develop and direct the team of 30 existing staff throughout the business


• Spearhead business growth as a key objective


• Closely manage the financial stability of the business, including cashflow and forecasting


• Develop and roll out key process improvement initiatives such as; quality management, efficiency, MI visibility & reporting


• Recruitment of staff
  
  Applicants must have previous key person leadership experience within an SME contracting business i.e. commercial M&E or HVAC or building services or similar


• Likely to have held position of General Manager, MD, Sales Director, Operations Director, Finance Director as a person with significant control


• Must have proven track record of managing a stable and growing business over several years


• Strong financial acumen
