Full Job Description

Role title: Manager, IOT Commercial In-Life
Location: London - Paddington

Role Purpose

Manage the In-Life Commercial relationship and profitability for the NaaS and VISOL contracts. Understand the cost drivers, actions to improve profitability, impacts of change requests, SLA credits. As such, you will be part of a new function specific for IoT, managing supply relationships direct with other Vodafone entities for the critical supply arrangements for the procurement and in-life contract management of network services. Responsible and accountable for the end to end commercial (P&L), technical (to Contract) and service delivery (SLA compliance) of the IoT Network as a Service agreement, Temporary Service Agreements owning strong internal and external relationships and ensuring success on all levels.

What you'll do

  • Own the performance of the P&L for the Service, take actions on costs.

  • Ensure that the Commercial terms in the contract are complied with, covering billing, commitments etc

  • Plan the budgets of the supplying organizations within Vodafone, matching forecast revenues and costs.

  • Evaluate commercial impact of change requests, obtaining costs. Monitor delivery and price impacts.

  • Work with all parties to optimize efficiency.


  • Who you are

  • Experience in running complex managed services contracts.

  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management experience in an international environment

  • Understanding of economics of managed network services

  • Decisive decision-making driving successful outcomes.

  • Professional experience with minimum of 5 years in Telco industry purchasing.

  • Sound understanding of Telco technology, products and supply for Enterprise market.

  • Ability to accomplish goals in traditional and matrix organization preferable.

  • Cross-functional thinking and acting

  • Experience in Supply Chain Management for vendor management.

  • Achieving cost and quality improvement across the NAAS contract framework

  • New vendor on-boarding in line with business requirements

  • Successful performance management of existing supplier relations
