Full Job Description

To provide day to day administrative and operational support to the Management Team and to assist in the smooth running of the five sites of Unity Health. To ensure the Practice Manager, and where appropriate Managing Partner, is informed about relevant operational issues and provide support as necessary., To provide an administrative, secretarial and support service to the Management Team.

To manage HR administration, including recruitment packs and new staff administration, staff absence monitoring, collation of extra hours for payment and payroll administration, holiday forms and allowances, DBS checks.

Administer and maintain GPTeamnet and Bluestream. Manage online training for all staff.

Preparation of the extended hours' rota for doctors, nurses and reception staff and the annual extended hours' data.

Maintain the annual leave forms and charts for all staff.

Liaise with Assura with regard to premises issues.

Other premises issues - liaise with contractors such as fire and security alarm companies, maintenance company, gardener, cleaning company etc.

To provide basic IT, including fault management, for clinical system, pathology links, general hardware and software support. All Smart Card set ups and administration over the five sites.

Routine maintenance and repair of clinical and non-clinical equipment.

To order all clinical, non-clinical and stationery supplies for the practice.

To provide support to the management team for the preparation and delivery of PTLs and other training sessions, eg venue hire, catering provision.

To assist the management team in the preparation of documents and premises for annual QoF assessment/CQC as required.

To provide support or undertake special projects at the request of the management team or Partners.

To attend training courses and external meetings as requested by the management team. Assist in the co-ordination and management of staff training including PLT events.

To undertake any other relevant duties as requested by the management team.

  • This position is for all 5 of the Unity Health Sites so you may be based out of any one of them throughout the week. Thame, Chinnor, Long Crendon, Princes Risborough & Brill.
