Full Job Description
- Managing all aspects of the accounting process including raising sales invoices, processing purchase invoices and inputting and journal entries.
- Account reconciliations
- Responsible for debtors & cash collection
- Preparing cashflow forecasts
- Preparing & submitting quarterly VAT returns
- Weekly and month-end financial performance reporting
- Management of new vehicle funding
- Import information into management reporting software
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis for the Group Finance Director
- Agree timescales, costs and resources
- Passport (plus Gov.UK share code confirming eligible to work in the UK if non UK passport)
- Birth Certificate and National Insurance Number on an official document.
- Proof of Address x 2
Experience with dealership & workshop software Pinewood - Motor Trade experience preferred
- Keyloop / Kerridge experience essential
- Good leadership skills

MAR Vehicle Solutions Ltd is part of the fast growing VMS Automotive Group offering a range of services comprising of Contract Hire & Fleet Management, Accident Management as well as offering Maintenance Services from our inhouse workshops and a leading provider of transport refrigeration systems, air conditioning solutions and converting panel vans into commercial, refrigerated vehicles. VMS Automotive operate nationwide with workshops and vehicle hire sites throughout the UK with our Head Office based in Stevenage and our Operations centre based in Bury St Edmunds.
This is a fast paced and exciting role within a high growth business. The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (minimum AAT) with strong commercial experience and acumen, as well as excellent communication and organisational abilities.
This position is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their career. The candidate will be required to maintaining the day to day duties of the advertised role whilst the progression comes with the growth of the company and will be clearly set out.
