Full Job Description

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the position is intended to support the Operations team to ensure that smooth processes and procedures are created and embedded within the business, to aid ongoing day to day operations and to ensure solutions are scalable to allow growth. The successful candidate must have experience of working in a team environment, working remotely and must be a self-driven person who takes the initiative on continual improvement and recommendations to the team. A high attention of accuracy and advanced Excel skills are also required.,

  • Dealing with reactive maintenance of chargers, tracking the project to completion, and analysing trends.

  • Liaising with manufacturers support departments and third-party engineering partners.

  • Controlling and distributing spare part stock and flagging stock trends.

  • Organising yearly maintenance and electrical testing.

  • Tracking the financial cost of repair.

  • Using the Charge Point Back office to troubleshoot issues and commission stations.

  • 2nd line technical support for customer operations, installation department and field engineers.

  • Preparing and analysing monthly reports for the performance of the operations department.

  • Creating new processes and procedures as the business grows.

  • Supporting the wider team with Back office queries.

  • Using the Charge Point Back office to programme stations, troubleshoot issues, commissioning stations, programming tariffs and uploading customer data.

  • Maintaining correct data in the CRM and all other platforms.

  • Onboarding new chargers onto our Charge Point Back office system.

  • Helping B2B customers with queries about charging activity, the data they receive and the portals they have access to.

  • General Admin using Advanced Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

  • Other ad hoc activities as required.

    1+ years' experience in a similar role.

  • A technical or analytical bachelor's degree or equivalent.

  • Good electrical and electronics understanding.

  • Flexible, structured and with high personal integrity.

  • Clear communication whether it is face to face or using email and phone.

  • The ability to manage your workload and prioritise effectively.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • The want to work in a fast-paced industry/business.

  • Experience of using Excel, CRMs and support portals.


  • The following would be highly advantageous but are not an absolute requirement:
  • Experience of working in the UK EV Charge point Industry or renewable technology.
