Maintenance Plumber

As a Maintenance Plumber at EMCOR UK, you will play a pivotal role in supporting anddelivering a service within our large-scale account for AWE You will be responsible for providing a timely and effective service by routinely carrying out the following tasks on a maintenance basis.

• Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers and water heaters, and fixtures such as sinks, showers and toilets, using hand and power tools.


• Repair and maintain plumbing, replacing defective washers, replacing, or mending broken pipes, and opening clogged drains.


• Deal with plumbing emergencies when required.


• Keep all internal drains and waste pipework clear of blockages.


• Carry out required PMs on the plumbing section.
  
  What you'll need:


• Demonstrate experience in installation and maintenance of plumbing and piping.


• Recognized plumbing qualifications.


• Installation and Servicing of domestic Vented and Unvented hot water storage systems


• Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS)


• Servicing and Testing Requirements of Thermostatic Mixing Valves


• Sound level of written and spoken English in order to comprehend briefings and directions from Supervisors and communicate with other workers on site.


• Will need to complete site records and routine forms.


• Ability to work unsupervised and organise workload.


• Must be willing to undertake additional training selected by the company
