Maintenance Person

We are looking to recruit a maintenance person to join us at our family owned care home to carry out day to day maintenance to a high standard on the fabric of the building, its services and grounds in order to provide the residents with a safe, comfortable and pleasant environment in which to live, whilst ensuring that the Home and grounds are maintained in a safe and efficient functional order.

· General maintenance knowledge / experience e.g. minor electrical, plumbing, joinery work, painting, tiling and drains

· Good communication skills

· Confident team player

· Use of a car or similar vehicle

· Willingness to receive training on current Health & Safety / EHO issues

· Satisfactory Police check and check against POVA List (where applicable)

· Ability to be responsible for essential safety checks and safe record keeping
