Full Job Description

Wimbledon Common Care Home, based in Wimbledon is looking for someone proactive and enthusiastic to take charge of the facilities team and join us as our Maintenance Co-Ordinator. You will be reporting directly to the General Manager and be responsible for maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for your residents and team members, ensuring the smooth running of facilities and maintaining an excellent standard of general upkeep for the building.

  • To be successful in this role, it is essential you have prior experience working within a facilities team and already have, or be willing to complete, the Health and Safety Level 2 training. You will have a solid understanding of systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical. You will be proud of your home and enjoy building relationships with the residents, ensuring they are happy and comfortable with their environment.

    You will love general maintenance tasks and basic repairs including electrical, plumbing, joinery and building tasks and decorating rooms to maintain the standards of the home.
