Full Job Description
We are looking to hire a Maintenance Assistant on a permanent basis. Based on site 5 days a week, you will work as part of the Maintenance team carrying out a range of tasks to ensure that the accommodation is maintained to a high standard. You will play a key role in assisting in the delivery of front line services and maintain a high level of presentation for every aspect of the accommodation and grounds.
You will assist with planned and reactive maintenance and support specialist sub contractors. This role is 'hands-on' and will ensure that inconvenience to residents is kept to a minimum.
On a daily basis, you will support with PPM and ensure the safe provision of accommodation in accordance with SLAs. You will also assist with health and safety checks and resolve any maintenance defects.
More about you
The ideal candidate will have experience in plumbing and electrical maintenance. Communications skills and experience of complying with health and safety regulations is desired as well.
