Full Job Description

Community Foods Limited is a major supplier of dried fruit, nuts, seeds, pulses, and other ambient stable ingredients to the UK food industry, including several market leading brands.

We are delighted that a huge demand in our product has resulted in the need for us to take on a number of Machine Operative's. These individuals will be highly motivated, good communicators and problem solvers as well as being a natural self-starter and team player.

Shift: 06.00-15:00, 40 hours a week.

Shift: 15.00 - 00.00, 40 hours a week.

The overall responsibility of the Machine Operator is to support the production line activities within the manufacturing site.

Duties will include:

1: Maintenance of Quality Standards.

2: Maintenance of Health and Safety Standards.

3: Any other reasonable duties as assigned by your Line Manager.

2: Performance

2.1 Ensure Short Interval Control (SIC) documents are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

2.2 Agree Daily/Weekly Plan and monitor.

2.3 Liaise with appropriate departments/colleagues to ensure all materials are available to adhere to Plans and take appropriate action to resolve issues.

2.4 Ensure issued plan is followed and any deviation from this is discussed and agreed with Team leader / Supervisor.

2.5 Be accountable for targets set for Productivity and Efficiency.

2.6 Be accountable for control and management of Raw Material and Packaging Stock, its issue of, consumption of and the accuracy of data.

3: Maintenance of Quality Standard's

3.1 Ensure all Quality Control documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner.

3.2 Ensure that you commit to the training that is delivered to meet Quality Control standards.

3.3 Highlight any Quality issues that occur to Senior Management and escalate to the Quality department.

4: Maintenance of Health and Safety Standard's

4.1 Ensure that your work environment is kept clean and tidy.

4.2 Ensure that you adhere to company dress standards for the factory environment.

4.3 Ensure proper storage and disposal of waste and recyclables
