Machine Control Installation Engineer

As Machine Control Installation Engineer you'll be based in the local Coalville, Leicestershire service centre and on a day-day basis you will be required to carry out the installation of Machine Control Systems on heavy construction plant and provide ongoing customer support around the UK. Your duties will include; installation and calibration of a range of Machine Control products, offering support and training to operators on site who are new to the system. You will complete pre and post rental checks, troubleshooting any equipment faults.

Working alongside colleagues, you will be a great team player and take pride in your workplace and working environment, making sure that high standards are maintained whilst complying with company procedures and processes.

To succeed in the Machine Control Installation Engineer role you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:

• Prior experience in the Construction Industry


• Prior experience in Auto Electrical field desired


• Understanding of hydraulic control systems and electrical systems including Mechanical CAN bus is desirable


• Able to work flexibly, overtime available or working away


• Able to work as part of a Team, supporting your colleagues


• Flexible and self-motivated, you will be keen to embrace new training opportunities


• Great communication skills - both verbal and written


• Effective planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy


• You will be a fully competent driver with licence category C1, preferably with a clean driving licence (no more than six points)


• CSCS card desired
