Full Job Description

This is a great opportunity to join us as a Leeds-based Loss Prevention Auditor. Here you'll identify, investigate and, where applicable, escalate cases of suspicious activity to operational managers and/or a team of in-house analysts. You'll work closely with managers, and supervisors to forecast, mitigate, and accurately document the impact of procedural breaches, theft, and fraud on the business.

What you will be doing

  • Maintaining a risk-based approach to loss prevention.

  • Interrogating internal MI, supplier data, and CCTV to establish potentially fraudulent activity.

  • Raising LBO procedural standards, knowledge, and awareness through escalation of serious procedural errors to operations managers.

  • Supporting a culture of continuous improvement by adopting a solutions-focused approach.

  • Maintaining best practice throughout the internal and external process chain whilst managing own performance against agreed SLAs and OKRs.

  • Responding to ad hoc requests in an appropriate and timely fashion whilst modelling our company values.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills able to quickly adapt to changes in systems and processes

  • A critical thinker, curious, with a determination to see tasks through to completion with a thorough, methodical approach to work; excellent attention to detail.

  • A team player, committed to supporting colleagues as required.

  • Betting industry knowledge with a keen interest in sport with an understanding of physical, financial, and regulatory risk in a retail bookmaking environment.

  • IT literate; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and educated to at least GCSE standard (C or above in English and Maths or equivalent).
