Logistics Business Excellence

Reporting to the Logistics Section Manager, the primary function of this role is to provide Administrative and Operational Support to all areas of the team.,

• Adhere to the Company's Health and Safety Policy and safe working practices.


• Adhere to Caterpillar's Values in Action: Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, Teamwork


• Support core functions of the Logistics team e.g. but not limited to CI, SWES, Scrap, Master Schedules, Value stream boards & CPS


• Coordinate CQMS & AEO activities.


• Collate Metrics, analysis and general administration of Velocity & Master Scorecard.


• Lead improvement projects as assigned


• Creation & maintenance of systems & databases to support team activities e.g. audit dashboard


• Undertake training/further learning as required
  
  Work well within a team environment and demonstrate a high degree of co-operation with different departments.


• The role requires you to be confident, self-motivated and diligent.


• Proficient Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Visio.


• Have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with all Levels of Caterpillar.


• Demonstrate ownership and accountability for assigned tasks, escalate to the Logistics Management or other functional areas where appropriate.


• Be self motivated and have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as operating effectively within a team. Have some knowledge of training and traffic safety processes.


Desired Qualifications:

• Possess a good knowledge of Logistics systems and processes
