Logistics Analyst

With the implementation of 3PLs in the EU and increasing volume/cost of freight and stock holding as well as movement, you will be overseeing due diligence on stock control movements ensuring this is occurring correctly (via manual and automated movements). You will be reviewing and reporting on the cost of 3rd party logistics, monitoring costs and utilization to ensure we are seeing value and identifying increases.

There will be a requirement for you to develop reports and processes and liaising with colleagues to negotiate and search for opportunities to reduce operating costs to maximize profitability and support sales COGs within the EU.,

• Ownership of European Inventory - accurate count/value and location.


• Monitoring and reporting of inventory and freight costs.


• Oversight and monitoring of key KPIs and Vendor compliancy - stock accuracy, delivery performance metrics, returns etc.


• Reviewing daily/weekly stock transactions/inventory reconciliation ensuring systems match and corelating transactions are in place - invoices/goods receipts etc. have been made.


• Reviewing monthly invoices/3PL reports - reviewing % of sales (aligning by channel) and identifying key cost areas for review.


• Monitor stock position to optimize item proliferation and suitable locations as well as sell out rates to monitor 'dead'/'fast' stock for review/replenishment - back orders and fulfilment rates included.


• Plan and implement optimization projects based on data - cost savings, logistic routes, inventory stocking etc.


• Ensuring we have the right data and reports to achieve their responsibilities - from internal to external stakeholders.


• Monitoring stock losses and cause.


• Working with Supply Chain to assist in inbound inventory planning and outbound redistribution.
  
  Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables).


• Previous experience in using ERP systems.


• Excellent communication skills.


• Strong analytical skills to interpret data.


• Problem-solving skills and attention to details.


Advantageous:

• Experience creating and providing reports to stakeholders to action.


• Familiarity with supply chain processes - inventory planning, warehouse management.


• Familiarity with finance processes.


• Experience in negotiating with suppliers.


• Experience creating/writing their own reports - building in excel or SAP/SQL.


• French language would be advantageous., Logistics: 1 year (preferred)
