Full Job Description

  • To manage the end to end administration of the site MHE fleet from fault reporting through to repair ensuring maximum up-time of our equipment & minimum disruption to operational activities.

  • To calculate material requirements for all soaking & hydration production areas & provide a daily delivery schedule to the supply chain team ensuring production storage areas are used effectively & remain customer compliant to ensure supply to line side is not interrupted.

  • To make amendments to department SOP's & OPL's ensuring they conform to site standards & are an accurate representation of what we do.

  • To ensure electronic traceability is maintained for inbound vehicle inspection information by completing daily audits of all inbound delivery paperwork.

  • To ensure any material write off via the disposal note system is transacted accurately & in a timely manner.

  • To represent Logistics Wisbech in all aspects of site standards & behaviour.


  • Role accountabilities
  • Ensure all FLT faults are logged with the provider in a timely manner & logged on the site MHE tracker.

  • Be the site point of contact for the MHE engineers to expedite repairs & ensure legal compliance is maintained & they are working in accordance with the risk assessments & method statements & permit to work.

  • Ensure all of the relevant purchase orders for MHE are raised & goods receipted in a timely manner & recorded on the site MHE tracker.

  • Ensure all of the relevant purchase orders for 'other' site machinery rental & repairs are raised & goods receipted in a timely manner & recorded on the site tracker.

  • Attend structured quarterly MHE provider performance meetings & provide relevant documentation to support any issues that need raising.

  • Provide information to the HS&E team to support any MHE driver investigations.

  • To calculate & schedule soaking & hydration material requirements on a daily basis.

  • Develop good working relationships with the planning & scheduling teams highlighting any issues that would affect line performance in a timely manner.

  • To communicate effectively with the Logistics teams to ensure warehouse capacity is monitored daily.

  • Liaise closely with colleagues within and across functions regarding material scheduling/planning /production/quality / training .

  • Liaise with site management when required.

  • Represent the department & contribute during customer audits / site visits.

  • Support initiatives for improving methods of work within the department & delivery of continuous improvement projects - 5s.

  • Carry out all additional tasks given by peers to the highest of standards ensuring clarity of information.

  • Complete any SAP transactions for material write off in a responsible & timely manner ensuring the highest levels of accuracy & control.

    Excellent understanding of SAP , MES .

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Word / Outlook

  • The successful candidate will be self motivated with ability to work unsupervised very effectively

  • Capable of working to tight deadlines and comfortable working under pressure

    Working hours

  • Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm
    Friday 8am - 3pm,
