Full Job Description
Are you passionate about making a difference and improving our Neighbourhoods?
At Platform we put our customers at the heart of everything we do, and our Neighbourhood teams are the life and soul of the organisation. We are excited to recruit a customer focused and highly organised individual as a Localities Operations Coordinator to join our team.
You'll be a key contact and support for our customers and Neighbourhood Officers in connection with Anti-Social Behaviour, Estate Management and other tenancy breaches. You'll have a hands-on, proactive approach to improving our neighbourhoods for everyone.
What could you be doing?
In this role you will work alongside the Neighbourhood Officers to ensure robust case management, managing case notes and updating our Housing Management System. Acting as the point of contact for our residents and Neighbourhood Officers, you will ensure all parties are kept informed of any updates within relation to their cases.
You'll maintain cases in relation to anti-social behaviour (ASB), hate crime, domestic abuse, safeguarding, tenancy breaches and estate management and ensure action plans are agreed, maintained and vulnerability risks assessments are completed where appropriate.
No day is the same in this role so if you like variety and want to progress your career in Housing, this could be right up your street!
You will have worked in a customer facing environment and delivered consistently good customer service, taking ownership of case management.
As you will be responsible for keeping customers updated, you will have the ability to organise and prioritise work and handle a number of tasks simultaneously and accurately.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are critical in this role, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people, sometimes in stressful situations, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
You will have confidence in dealing with tough conversations and showing empathy.
This is a hybrid role where you will be required to work in our Worcester office two days a week alongside your colleagues. The rest of the role will be home based. A driving licence and use of your own vehicle or alternative means of getting to the required locations is essential., Disability Confident
