Full Job Description

Weston College Group has secured a long-term education contract at HMP Five Wells located in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. We are seeking to recruit an outstanding and highly motivated Library & Learning Resource Centre (LLRC) Facilitator to join our team in Education.

This is a full time role, working 37 hours per week.

Day to day duties of the role

Facilitate use of technology to enhance learning and support
Maintain and enquiry service, and technology support
Develop working relationships, liaising regularly with curriculum staff, prison and other partners to ensure LLRC meets needs
Extend learning and literacy beyond classroom to support reading and learning experiences across the prison

Good level of technical ability and competent user of technology
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels
Strong organisation and time management skills, Disability Confident

HMP Five Wells is a privately run category C men's prison located in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. At full capacity the prison can house 1,680 residents, making it one of the largest prisons in the UK.
