Lift Service Engineer

My client is a family-run market-leading specialist, providing high-quality lift maintenance and repair services for all types of Lifts across North London.

Candidate locations could include: Finchley, Tottenham, Wood Green, Edmonton, Enfield, Barnet etc

The Role - Lift Repair Engineer

- Knowledge of various makes and models of lifts
- Completion of small repairs, both reactive and preventative, on all types of lifts
- Document and report works completed including pictures and any recommendations
- Liaise with the office team to update them on the status of jobs and to report any relevant faults/further works
- Carrying out planned servicing on lifts
- Problem-solving and working on own initiative
- Ensure a high standard of quality and delivery of service
- Creating good working relationships with clients on-site, always maintaining a professional attitude
- Conform to and utilise best practice within health and safety at all times
- Contacting technicians or manufacturers when support is required to resolve faults to the best of your ability
- Oncall 1 week per month (evenings and weekends)

- NVQ3 in Lift Servicing
- Must be a proactive, open-minded and motivated individual
- Being self-sufficient is crucial to this position
- Ability to work unsupervised and provide documentation to the highest standard
- Professional and punctual
- Must have high attention to detail
- Confident and articulate
- Full UK driving license

Starting salary up to £50,000 per annum
- Company Van (can be used for personal use)

- Oncall - Weekdays (£40 p/n and £40 p/callout) / Weekends (£100 p/d and £100 p/callout)
- Work mobile and tablet
- Weekdays: 8am-5pm
- Overtime is available but optional
