Lifeguard - - Frome

Lifeguards have one of the most important jobs at our centres, and that is keeping our customers safe in and around the water. Our Lifeguards also perform other duties, such as cleaning assigned areas, setting up and breaking down various activities and events, and conducting pool testing according to procedures. If you are interested in a career in leisure, Fusion also has fantastic training programmes that, with our partners, can lead to Bachelors and even Masters level qualifications.

We are passionate about delivering the best customer service and getting your community active. Every Fusion team member plays their part, working within a diverse and dynamic team, in a fast-paced environment., No experience is necessary, however in order to be considered for a Lifeguard position with Fusion you need to be an able swimmer with excellent customer service skills. You should also be able to:

• Swim on your front and back


• Swim 50m in under 60 seconds


• Swim 200 meters continuously


• Climb out of the pool unaided without using steps or a ladder


• The ability to pass a NPLQ course


You will need to pass an interview and our swim competency assessments to be offered a free
• place on the course. This is a 5 day course and you will need to be available for all 5 days.
