Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join the Croft Academy team has arisen. Croft Academy is a successful, multicultural, one form entry school. We have a team of teaching assistants who work in a variety of ways supporting the teaching and learning of children.

We are seeking a highly skilled, enthusiastic, experienced and well-motivated level 3 teaching assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team whose role calls for competence across a varied range of responsibilities. Working under the supervision of a class teacher, you will be responsible for supporting children across the school, as well as delivering structured interventions and group work activities.

Led by our Principal, Samantha Crisp, we are a vibrant, supportive and hardworking team. We are committed to promoting high achievement in education whilst ensuring that pupils are safe, happy and actively engaged in a rich school life which feeds into their future successes. We are making substantial improvements in all areas, and we are investing heavily in our staff to continue this momentum. We are looking for equally passionate practitioners to join us on the next steps of our school improvement plan.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016). Therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
