Full Job Description

Create and implement developmentally appropriate day plans for young children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Plan and organize activities that promote physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development
- Observe and assess children's progress and communicate with parents or guardians
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and developmental milestones

Strong knowledge of early childhood development theories and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Ability to adapt plans and activities to meet the individual needs of each child
- Organizational skills to plan and prepare materials for daily activities
- Ability to handle challenging behaviours with patience and understanding,

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)


  • Experience:
  • Nursery: 1 year (required)

  • Childcare: 1 year (required)
