Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer to teach and assess on our Coaches in Schools apprenticeship programme, helping to develop the next generation of sports coaches and PE teachers.

The successful candidate will deliver inspiring teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed. Progress will be monitored to ensure target grades are met and all learners achieve to the best of their ability.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and teaching qualification, and you must have extensive teaching and vocational experience in further education, and experience of working/coaching within a school sport setting.

You will possess strong interpersonal and organisational skills and work effectively with a range of partners. You will possess excellent planning and administration skills and be able to work to deadlines. A knowledge of a range of teaching methodologies is essential. Offsite working and academic term time delivery will be required for this role.
