Full Job Description
- Supervising and supporting groups of children across the primary age range.
- Assisting in the planning and implementing of learning activities across the primary age range.
- Delivering intervention programmes.
- Carrying out pupil assessments.
- Encouraging pupils to interact with others and engage in activities.
- Providing feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement under guidance of the teacher.
Practising Catholic or fully committed to supporting the ethos and mission of our Catholic School. - Organised and have excellent inter-personal skills.
- Able to work effectively as part of a dedicated, hard-working team.
- Have excellent communication skills and depending on the post be able to work under the guidance and direction of the Head of Campus, EAL Co-Ordinator/ Foundation Phase Leader/ ALNCo and the class teacher.
- Have very good interpersonal skills, be confident, reliable, and flexible.
- Up to date Read Write Inc training.
- Able to demonstrate excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
- Knowledgeable of school safeguarding procedures.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of personal initiative.
- Trustworthy and professional.
- Take an active part in the life of the school.
