A key strength of the school is our commitment to developing positive relationships. We are now embracing the Nurture Uk approach which is further strengthening our Nurture work.

The aims of the Nurture hub are to ensure that pupils attending make good progress in their learning, communication and social skills; to reduce any anxieties and challenges that act as a barrier to learning. The school and local authority will be partnering with Nurture UK to ensure an evidence-based approach will be implemented. Full Nurture UK training will be given to you. The school are working in partnership with the local authority to provide a bespoke physical space that will meet the needs and requirements of this nurture provision.

We are looking for a very special individual who is suitably qualified, highly effective and able to work closely as part of the whole school pastoral team. The successful candidate will be committed to ensure all of children receive an extraordinary educational experience. You will have the full support of our school and the wider trust community to achieve this. The role is to work flexibly as part of a team, under the direction of class teachers, nurture teacher or the SENDCo to provide teaching and learning support to pupils, teachers and the wider school community.

    Hours: 24 hours per week, Term Time Only plus INSET Days


  • Contract: Fixed Term Contract to 31 August 2025, subject to a review of the school budget and staffing review

    Salary: JG4, £24,294 - £25,979 per annum, pro rata

    Actual Salary: £13,841 - £14,801 per annum

    St Andrew's Primary School will be launching a Nurture Hub from 1 September 2024. We are looking to recruit a new team, including a Teacher and an experienced Learning Partner (Learning Support Assistant), to work in the Hub. The working pattern is Monday to Thursday, 8.45am to 3.15pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch., We also provide for employees a fantastic benefits package including contributory pension scheme, employee assistance programme and a wide range of benefits and discounts.
