People Team at Frontier
The People team is responsible for the design and delivery of the People strategy across Europe. It is comprised of three operational functions: Recruitment and Onboarding, HR and Leadership and Development.
Job Description
Reports to: Learning & Development Manager
Frontier's Learning and Development (L&D) Advisors work together with our talented and engaged teams to develop and deploy people strategies that nurture our unique company culture and employee experience, promote individual and company growth and tangibly contribute to profitability.
By engaging with and navigating a wide network of stakeholders, L&D Advisors will bring their expert knowledge, skills and experience to the fore, managing multiple projects whilst aligning local requirements and ways of working with Firm-wide strategies.
L&D Advisors are key day-to-day contacts for their client groups, connecting with other People specialists as required, and will provide guidance and support through cyclical L&D programmes as well as discrete projects which may have a firm-wide reach.
Our L&D Advisors are well informed, outcome focused and collaborative.

The key areas of responsibility are:
Coordinate and manage training activities

  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of training activities for assigned client groups.

  • Ensure the LMS is effectively utilized for scheduling, tracking, and reporting on all training activities.

  • Collaborate with various client groups to identify training needs and ensure we are supporting those requirements.


  • Instructional design
  • Develop and design engaging and effective e-learning content tailored to the needs of the business.

  • Utilize instructional design principles to create various learning materials, including e-learning modules, videos, and other multimedia resources.


  • Communication
  • Craft clear, concise, and compelling written communications to promote L&D programs and initiatives.

  • Develop internal and external campaigns to launch new programs and initiatives, ensuring effective communication across the firm.


  • Project Management
  • Lead and manage ad hoc learning-related projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they meet objectives, deadlines, and budgets.

  • Apply project management methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor L&D projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.

  • Deliver on objectives and outcomes as identified in the L&D strategy with effective project management and stakeholder management.

  • Proactively maintain a good knowledge of current L&D thinking and trends.

  • Development and delivery of high-quality e-learning content that meets the needs of the business.

  • Positive feedback from learners and stakeholders on the effectiveness and engagement of learning materials.

  • Creation and dissemination of clear, concise, and engaging communications promoting L&D initiatives and programs.

  • Successful internal and external campaigns that effectively launch new programs and initiatives, resulting in high engagement and participation rates.

  • Successful planning, execution, and completion of L&D projects within set timelines and budgets.

  • Achievement of project objectives, with positive stakeholder feedback on the quality and impact of project outcomes.

  • Efficient and effective coordination of training activities, with optimal use of the LMS for scheduling, tracking, and reporting.

  • Delivery of L&D Strategy outcomes, managing priorities and risks as appropriate.

    Excellent interpersonal and people skills, being seen as a trusted advisor.

  • Effective networking, influencing, and building rapport.

  • Excellent written communication skills; credible with the ability to influence a wide range of people.

  • Expertise in creation, delivery, and evaluation of innovative learning interventions, particularly e-learning.

  • Knowledge of blended learning and best practices with implementation.

  • Familiarity with a range of technologies and LMS.

  • Experience in L&D and HR functions.

  • Excellent organization, project management, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work to deadlines.


  • Desirable
  • CIPD qualification.

  • Experience designing e-learning content using Articulate360.
