Learner Recruitment Officer

Coleg Sir Gar are the lead partners for the UK-wide Multiply project for Carmarthenshire. The College are seeking the expertise of a Learner Recruitment Officer (or Officers if successful candidates would be seeking a job share) to liaise on a weekly basis with up to 25 community venues and local employers as part of a strategy to identify and enrol learners.

It's widely recognised within the Multiply strategy that the hardest to reach of our community are not attracted by the traditional learner recruitment methods and as such the College is seeking someone to bring new and innovative concepts that will support a 51 week roll on, roll off enrolment campaign.

You will work closely with employers and community stakeholders learners across Carmarthenshire focusing on recruitment of learners on numeracy programmes and ensuring that all key stakeholders are fully engaged and receive the appropriate communications so that learners signed up on the appropriate training programmes and successfully complete their learning as agreed.

Through this engaging and community focused environment, Coleg Sir Gar and Coleg Ceredigion will be at the heart of developing new skills and supporting those that want to improve existing skills.,

• To work closely with learners and community venues across Carmarthenshire in the recruitment of learners for numeracy upskilling


• To ensure that all key stakeholders are fully engaged and receive the appropriate communications so that learners successfully complete their enrolment paperwork


• To work in collaboration ensuring all Multiply outcomes are met


• To work to agreed monthly recruitment targets
