Full Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Project Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The shift pattern for this role is 09:00 - 17:00, Monday - Friday., As our Lead Project Manager, you will deliver new business implementations regarding contract logistics, ensuring smooth and successful implementation and start-up.

Specifically, you will work across various business functions, including operations, automation, engineering, IT, HR and HS&E, to scope projects and manage risk and issues.

You will also have the exciting opportunity to be involved in the implementation of our new site at SEGRO Logistics Park in Northampton, which is set to be the largest single sustainable warehouse in the Midlands logistics hub.

In terms of project management, you will create project plans, manage costs, co-ordinate work streams and resources and conduct risk assessments.

You will also be involved in internal and external communications, to facilitate meetings and provide reports, and elements of people management to make sure the project teams have the right skills and one direct report is effectively managed.

Project management experience with a track record of successful project delivery from implementation to project completion from small through to large scale projects
- Experience of people management with an open, transparent leadership style
- Experience of working across functions, cultures and geographies and of successfully leading challenging projects
- Strong presentation skills
- Good administrative skills with a focus on delivery
- A relevant project management and/or change management qualification
- A full, valid driving licence

Salary of £50k - £60k per annum
