Full Job Description

  • Responsibility and accountability for Engineering IT Toolset Requirements that span the whole Product Lifecycle and Engineering Functions

  • Review Existing IT Toolset Portfolio to ensure maximum benefit in terms of capability and cost to the Business

  • Provide input and direction into how we can utilise IT Toolsets to Digitize Existing Work Practices

  • Liaise with Internal and External IT Support to ensure deliverables around IT Toolset Requirements

  • Manage Small Scale IT Toolset Upgrades and Implementations

  • Review of Existing Practices around Data Archiving and contribute towards Improvements from a Toolset Perspective

    IT Toolset Background, preferably from an Engineering Perspective

  • Project Management/Controller Experience

  • Excellent Communication Skills


  • Desirable:
  • Continuous Improvement Qualification (eg Lean 6 Sigma)

  • Data Archiving and or Records Retention Knowledge

  • Experience of a wide range of IT Toolsets (CAD, SAP, Teamcentre)

  • Good Reporting Skills

  • The Engineering Business Systems team:

    The team responsible for ensuring our requirements across Engineering are captured, reviewed, and implemented in accordance with Local Policies and Strategic Recommendations.

    The Business is undergoing a significant change to a More Digitised, Data Driven Environment to support the End-to-End Product Lifecycle. The use of IT Toolsets to support this change will be fundamental in supporting that change.
