Full Job Description

As a Lead Credit Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for the design, documentation, and future maintenance of Credit Risk customer strategy within the context of the Credit Risk function, operating under the CRO.

You will be reporting into the Head of Credit Execution with potential line management responsibility as the function expands.

In your day-to-day role, as a Lead Credit Risk Analyst you will :

  • Responsible for the robust implementation of Credit Risk strategies including, but not limited to, credit line increases, pricing, re-issue, authorisations, and applications processing

  • Develop and embed a robust change process and culture in credit risk change management

  • Run and optimise existing SAS processes during transition to new technologies

  • Design and document customer strategy assuring these are in line with credit policy, regulations, and work to improve the customer journey

  • Manage business change requests, gathering business requirements and translating these into technical specifications

  • Lead the production and delivery of test plans and reports to validate successful build strategy before implementation into production regions

  • Design, implement and manage a suite of management information to identify implementation errors and opportunities to enhance existing strategies

    Relevant Financial Services experience

  • Proven and relevant experience in the use of customer decisioning software

  • SAS / SQL coding proficiency

  • Near prime banking experience

  • Blaze / SRL coding experience

  • Agile work experience
