Cloudscaler are looking to hire an experienced Cloud Strategy Consultant who can work closely with our customers, guiding them through the complexities of cloud transformation.

This role will suit someone who understands how to apply a wide range of cloud technologies and techniques to solve the needs of a large enterprise business, particularly central government and financial services.

There is an opportunity, once in the role, to work with Cloudscaler's leadership team to define and build out our Cloud Strategy function, any experience of previously building a capability is advantageous but not essential for success in this role.,

  • Responsible for providing technology leadership in cloud technologies to our clients across industry sectors, helping them navigate their cloud transformation

  • Establishing valuable relationships with CxOs and other senior stakeholders of our clients, using your technical and professional credibility to act as trusted advisor to them on their strategic direction, growth, and investment in AWS

  • Applying critical thinking and innovation with a clear emphasis on creation of value for the customer

  • Leading on project or workstream outcomes and client relationships to help our teams succeed

  • Shape and write proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution and host industry and partner events

  • You will work closely with our sales and bid teams, supporting them in pre-sales activities

  • You will oversee the mobilisation of a delivery team(s) to enact the strategy and plan you have created, applying best practice throughout the delivery

  • You will work closely with Cloudscaler's leadership team to define the processes, templates and methods for producing strategic reports for customers

  • Experienced technology consultant who understands how to apply a wide range of cloud technologies and techniques to solve the needs of a large enterprise business

  • Experienced providing strategic advice, actionable plans and delivery estimates professionally and effectively to a variety of stakeholders across a business including C-suite, technology leaders, business function leaders and areas such as finance, security, commercial etc., building consensus for action across the stakeholder group

  • Broad general experience across enterprise technology and a deeper knowledge or specialism in AWS

  • Knowledge of the latest cloud best practices including the role of multi-cloud within a large organisation

  • Demonstrable experience in delivering strategic cloud advice and decision support in forms such as cloud strategies, readiness assessments, adoption approaches, operating models, cloud economics (FinOps) and cloud migration approaches and plans

  • Ability to communicate complex topics succinctly and can influence stakeholders across the range of roles and seniorities including C-suite executive

  • Understanding of technology's impact on our clients businesses including latest trends, advantages and disadvantages, impact, cost, availability and suitability of different cloud technologies and patterns

  • You have a keen commercial awareness and business development experience that enables you to identify and shape potential opportunities
