Lay Members

We are looking to recruit people living in Luton who have an interest in how vulnerable adults are kept safe from abuse.

The LSAB is responsible for making sure agencies work together to safeguard and promote the wellbeing of adults in Luton.

The Board is made up of senior managers across local agencies, including police, health, adult services and the community and voluntary sectors.

This is a public facing role so you'll need to show off your fluency in speaking and writing English

We are looking for people who are able to contribute to the work of either Board by:

• attending Board meetings or subgroups with a view to provide a perspective of someone who lives in and is involved in Luton.


• be curious and be confident in asking agencies questions about good practice, Our ambitious Luton 2040 Vision - that no-one in Luton will have to live in poverty - is at the heart of everything we do.
