Laser / Aesthetic Therapist

Treatments and services

• Deliver excellent laser and aesthetic skin treatments according to clinic protocols.


• Conduct thorough skin consultations in conjunction with VISIA analysis to identify individual patient requirements and provide treatment and skincare recommendations.


• Promote and recommend products and services to maximise sales and referrals.


• Provide exceptional customer care and professionalism at all times to ensure patient confidence and satisfaction.


Compliance

• Adhere to clinic procedures and policies, particularly around client record data protection requirements (medical history, consent forms, treatment notes, etc).


• Maintain client confidentiality and discretion at all times.


• Ensure working areas and equipment meet health, safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards.


• Monitor stock levels in treatment rooms for all required products.


• Report any client complaints or incidents to senior management immediately, documenting all details.


General / ad hoc (including, but not limited to the following)

• Provide treatment support or assistance to clinicians and other team members.


• Occasional front-desk cover to check patients in for appointments and take payment for product sales.


• General office admin and other tasks as needed in the smooth and timely running of the clinic.
  
  We require a part-time NVQ Level 4/5 laser skin therapist with a minimum 3 years' experience in laser, radio frequency, ultrasound and HIFU devices to provide an exceptional level of service to our high-end clientele. Additional experience in advanced skin care would be desirable., Minimum Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy, Laser Core of Knowledge and Level 4 Certificate in Laser and IPL.


• Minimum 3 years' experience as a laser therapist.


• Excellent IT skills (MS Office focus).


• Experience with basic medical terminology would be beneficial., Welcoming, friendly manner with patients and visitors.


• Excellent team-working ethic.

• Impeccable grooming and presentation.


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.


• Attention to detail.


• Strong ability to plan and prioritise autonomously.

  Self London is a multi-award-winning expert-led dermatology, laser and lifestyle with a clinical team comprising three consultant dermatologists, a clinical psychologist and registered dietitian. Together we solve skin challenges, looking beyond at the full picture to help our patients get back to feeling good and inspiring skin confidence.
  
  Monday 12:00-17:00 and Friday 09:00-16:00 immediately with scope to expand number of days in future, potentially to include Saturday mornings.


• Exact working times may vary according to business need; additional days may also be required occasionally.


• Role will be covered by a fixed-term service contract (ie, you would not be an employee of Self London), but with potential to employ thereafter.
