Full Job Description

Southport and Ormskirk NHS Trust invites applications from dynamic and well-motivated individuals for 1 x LAS ST3+ posts in Orthopaedics. Based across both sites, the posts will commence as soon as possible. One of the posts has a sub specialty of foot and ankle and the other of lower limb.

Southport and Ormskirk hospital is a busy District General Hospital which offers broad orthopaedic experience across the specialty. You will be the Registrar for one Consultant with an expectation that you will participate in all the routine work for that consultant, including fracture clinic, elective clinic and elective and trauma operating lists. You will participate in the middle grade on call rota which is a 1 in 8 on call (non resident on call)

You will join a team led by a dynamic group of 10 Orthopaedics Consultants who believe in delivering safe, high quality and timely patient care.

The Secretary of State has approved the partnership between St Helens & Knowsley and Southport & Ormskirk Hospitals.
