LARC Nurse (RGN)

Hallam Medical has an opportunity for LARC trained Practice Nurses to support an integrated sexual health service in Leeds.

This is an amazing opportunity for LARC Nurses looking for locum work to join the nursing team within various practices in Leeds.

As a LARC Nurse you will need to deliver care to patients relating to their sexual health needs in line with current BASHH/FSRH guidance, and carry out clinical examination of patients; this including cervical and bimanual examination. An ideal nurse for this role will assess, advise, prescribe, administer, and carry out the full range of LARC procedures required by patients, following discussion with the individual as to their contraception choices, in line with FSRH current guidance.

• Confident in carry out all standard community nursing duties


• A minimum of 6 months UK Nursing experience


• Experience working within a GP Practice or Sexual Health Service
