Full Job Description
The support secretary post will be a key role in the community administrative teams, working alongside the Looked After Children Co-ordinator, using audio typing skills to produce high levels of patient related correspondence and reports. The post holder(s) will also contribute to the general daily activities of the office such as responding to telephone enquiries, filing activities and other specific key activities that are the responsibility of the Paediatric teams.
There will be a requirement to deal with any child protection/safeguarding liaison/communication as required (training will be provided).
Applicants will have a broad spectrum of administration skills and demonstrable typing skills. In addition to this, applicants should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a willingness to work as part of a team.
