L3 ICT Support Apprentice - Axia Computer Systems - Watford WD24 - £6.40 p / hour

Axia Computer Systems are an IT Company based in Watford, this is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly close knit small team in an IT Support role offering variety and plenty of scope to learn new skills for the right candidate., As an IT Support Apprentice your key responsibilities will be:

• Providing technical telephone, remote, onsite and email support


• Log calls in the helpdesk call logging system


• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, network and software issues


• Manage users and permissions within Active Directory


• Install & Configure Hardware & Software


• Monitor remote backup systems


• Migration of systems to Cloud such as Azure and Office 365


• Manage Backup Estate


• Manage VMWare Estate


• Assist in any other general tasks that may arise
  
  Experience of Windows XP/Windows 7/Windows 10


• Experience of Active Directory User Administration


• Experience of Microsoft office and office 365


• Basic understanding of Networking solutions, TCP/IP, LAN, WAN.


• Confident spoken and written English


• Ability to prioritise tasks and be aware of time constraints and deadlines


• Ability to research and learn new technologies/solutions under pressure


• Strong team player


• Experience with VMware/Hyper-V


• Willing to learn and improve skill set with on-the-job training.


Requirements:

It is an advantage to have GCSE 9-4 grades or equivalent in English and Maths to apply for this type of apprenticeship. If you do not have these grades but have completed numeracy and literacy Key Skills/Functional Skills at level two you may also apply for these apprenticeships. Please do not apply to this apprenticeship if you have a degree in Computer Science.

- Have the right to work in the UK
