Research and Innovation Services is central to enabling this through the provision of specialist professional services. This 30 month post is to facilitate, lead and manage an exciting innovation project to implement a management Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) at Purpose Disruptors Ltd, based in Central London.
A KTP programme is a three-way collaboration between an Associate, a Company, and a University. The Associate undertakes and manages a strategic research and development project for the company, whilst being supported by academic and industry supervisors. The programme is co-funded by a government grant and the company. The Faculty of Business and Law at the University of Portsmouth, in collaboration with Purpose Disruptors, are seeking an innovative and motivated individual to develop the idea of Advertised Emissions into a rigorous and reputable global standard.
Purpose Disruptors, founded in 2019, are a not-for-profit business with a strong social purpose. The main focus is the advertising industry. Purpose Disruptor's vision is that by 2030, the industry has transitioned to only working on promoting attitudes, lifestyles and behaviours that align with a net zero world.
The working pattern for this post is Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:30, flexible working hours plus hybrid working. Annual leave allowance is 25 days (plus bank holidays)
This appointment is a fixed-term contract until 31 December 2026.
