At Horizon School, we support young people who have been unable to succeed in mainstream education. Here they are given a second chance with support and challenge, to help them achieve their potential.

Our current team of staff is highly committed to supporting our young people to ensure they get as much as they can out of their education at Horizon School. If you feel you could contribute to the school and join us on our journey, we would welcome an application from you.

We are looking for a KS2 Teacher who can:

* be approachable in nature, supportive, understanding and prioritises wellbeing

* inspire, challenge and motivate our children, staff, managers and parents

* have the passion to focus relentlessly on what is best for all of our students and staff, promoting a supportive, secure and happy environment for all

* be highly aspirational, and lead by example with enthusiasm and creativity, drawing on their expertise and that of those around them

* be passionate about the value of education and the need for high-quality teaching and learning

* demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills

* embrace and continue the child-focused ethos of our school

* continue to sustain and develop a broad and balanced curriculum that enriches the whole child.
