KS1 / 2 Teacher

The governors of Holy Trinity CE First School in Berwick upon Tweed are looking for an enthusiastic, well-motivated teacher to teach in our school, starting in September 2024. The successful candidate should have the ability to teach across the school. The ideal candidate will have a real passion for education and be able to provide rich, creative and stimulating learning experiences for our children. They must have the highest expectations of children's achievement and behaviour and be committed to raising standards.

The successful candidate must:

• have Qualified Teacher Status;


• have excellent classroom management skills;


• have experience of teaching Key Stage 1 or 2 children and meeting a range of Special Educational Needs;


• have a secure knowledge of the Primary curriculum;


• have a high standard of personal literacy and numeracy skills;


• have the highest expectations of pupil performance;


• have a willingness to uphold the Christian ethos of the school;


• have a willingness to learn and develop; and


• have a sense of humour, show patience and demonstrate warmth, care and sensitivity.
