Kennel and Dangerous Dogs Operations Manager

To oversee the management of all dangerous dogs boarded on behalf of the force - liaison with the kennel provider to maintain a good working relationship, attending the kennel provider to check on and record (on NICHE) kenneled dogs' welfare, liaison with OIC's around the force to ensure that investigations in relation to dangerous dogs are conducted in a timely manner.

To manage the delivery of holistic care of the dogs within the kennel facility and to ensure the kennel facility is maintained in order to maintain the health and wellbeing of the dogs.

To carry out the necessary associated administrative functions allowing the kennel complex to run efficiently, coordinating with dog handlers to ensure the best possible care of police dogs is delivered
