Full Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our Back of House Team. As a Junior Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef & Sous Chef to ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen and deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. If you have a passion for food, experience in a professional kitchen, and a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you., Assist the Head Chef & Sous Chef in menu planning and recipe development
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with special events and catering functions as required

Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Excellent culinary skills with a focus on quality and creativity
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience working in a restaurant or culinary establishment is preferred

We are Gyre & Gimble. An award winning Gin Distillery. We have recently taken over the beautiful Walpole Arms in Itteringham near Aylsham. After a wonderful reception since opening in August 2023 we are now looking to expand our kitchen team. This is an exciting time to Join Gyre & Gimble as we are looking to grow the pub side of the business.
