Junior Product Manager

Quark is seeking a dynamic and organized Junior Product Manager to join our UK team, reporting to the VP of Worldwide Marketing. This role will receive substantial support and training to help you grow into your responsibilities. You'll interact with various teams including marketing, finance, engineering, professional services, and business systems, requiring excellent communication skills, strong follow-up abilities, and outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills. You'll strive to elevate data quality and structure to leverage metrics and KPIs on sales performance and trends to meet business goals.Support the product vision, strategy, and roadmap of QuarkXPress.

• Assist as Subject Matter Expert on QuarkXPress and its applications across verticals.


• Help execute product launch plans and support marketing in executing go-to-market plans.


• Contribute to external communications related to the product including customers, prospects, and partners.


• Participate in product training for Sales and Pre-sales teams.


• Help evangelize the product at trade shows, conferences, and webinars.


• Assist in managing the Product Backlog in Azure DevOps.


• Interact with customers to analyse their business requirements and identify items for the Product Backlog.


• Collaborate with the Customer Success team in Quarterly Business Reviews.


• Work with the Support team on customer-reported issues.


• Research current market trends and competitive products.


• Assist in developing release plans and schedules with engineering leads.


• Collaborate with the professional services team to ensure customer requirements are met effectively.


• Help in creating release-specific product documentation.


• Participate in regular meetings with the development team to ensure proper feature implementation.
  
  Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.


• 1-3 years of experience in product management or a related role at a SaaS/Software Product company.


• Experience with B2C and B2B markets; cloud software delivery is an advantage.


• Strong organizational skills, able to manage and prioritize multiple competing initiatives.


• Proven ability to think abstractly and develop creative solutions to real-world problems.


• Basic understanding and experience with Agile methodologies.


• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on common goals.


• Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.


• Excellent organizational and time management skills.


• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Creative and strategic thinker with a high attention to detail.


• Experience with open-source technologies and AI is a plus.
