Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Business Development Manager to join our Marketing team due to growth. You'll help us drive member engagement, by building relationships with key organisations and raising awareness of Blue Light Card through member outreach and networking.,

  • Drive B2B outreach through identifying, pursuing and building new relationships with key organisations across eligible sectors

  • Implement a consistent engagement strategy with member organisations we already have relationships with

  • Work closely with the team to plan and execute initiatives for new and existing member organisations

  • Create brand content and toolkits for distribution with member organisations

  • Develop a consistent communication plan with a test and adapt approach to update key organisations with relevant news and offers

  • Assist in planning, executing, and attending events to network and boost brand recognition

    Prior experience in a business development or sales role, with an emphasis on building long term relationships

  • Track record of being able to influence, network and build relationships using a creative approach and finding win-win propositions

  • Familiar with basic creative processes, including copywriting and asset design to customise templates and toolkits for each organisation

  • Ability to be able to drive initiatives forward from inception to roll-out, using data to define prioritisation and measure impact

  • Full UK Drivers License and flexibility to travel across the UK to attend events, attending events outside of usual office working hours when required

  • Experience working with or within our key organisations such as NHS, Social Care, Emergency Services and Armed Forces would be desirable
