Full Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Bench Joiner who will assist with the assembly and fitting of our handmade furniture. The role will mainly involve making fascias and fitting doors on our Shaker and Classic kitchen ranges. In addition to this, you will build island end panels, freestanding pieces, and tables.

Within this role, you will be required to:

- Assemble stock and bespoke frames.
- Hang doors into Fascias.
- Build kitchen island end panels.
- Produce kitchen benches and freestanding pieces such as butcher's blocks.
- Assist with quality control/ workshop inspection checks.
- Keep your work area clean and tidy.
- Have some joinery experience.
- Use a variety of hand power tools.

Have a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrate pinpoint accuracy for kitchen fascias, ensuring precise door gaps with tolerances down to fractions of a millimeter.
- Handle multiple pieces of furniture efficiently throughout a typical workday, showcasing excellent prioritisation and multitasking skills.
- Possess a diverse range of hand tools (Essential).
- Have a passion to be able to consistently produce high-quality furniture.
- Have previous experience in a woodworking role (beneficial but not essential).
- Work well within a team but also independently.
- Have a positive and can-do attitude.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- To be available for weekend work, with an expectation of working two Saturdays per month.
