IT Systems Technician

A rare opportunity has come up for a Systems Technician within our dedicated, friendly ICT department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone, who has the relevant experience, and wishes to progress to a Senior level within the team.

The role involves supporting the Head of IT with the technical delivery of Ampleforth College's IT function, centred on an ITIL-based service desk, within a Microsoft 365 environment. Ensuring that hardware and applications are provided and maintained, and that the network infrastructure is kept available and secure. Providing support and advice to customers, imparting technical information in an understandable manner. Carrying out duties in the most cost-effective and efficient way, demonstrating all due care to safer practice for children and for all relevant health and safety legislation.
