Join our dynamic IT Team at Oaklands College and be a crucial part of shaping the future technology in education! We are actively seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to contribute to the support, growth and development of our IT infrastructure., Provide essential IT Support to faculty, staff and students, ensuring seamless operation of technology resources.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently to minimize downtime and escalating issues when needed.
Maintain user accounts and security groups using Microsoft Active Directory
Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain technology solutions, including AR/VR headsets, immersion rooms Canvas and SharePoint.
Responsible for delivering small projects and third-party system upgrades
Contribute to the development and execution of IT strategies aligned with the colleges vision.
We are looking for individuals with a passion for innovation and a desire to enhance the educational experience through technology.

Proficiency supporting Windows operating systems, ideally Windows 10 and 11
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365
At least 2 years experience supporting hardware and software solutions
Excellent communication skills with a keen focus on customer service

IT Support Engineer - Desirable Skills:

Experience with teaching technology including smart wallboard solutions
Experience configuring AR/VR headsets
Recognised IT support qualifications - Microsoft, CompTIA or similar.
Canvas: Utilize your knowledge of the Canvas learning management system to support faculty and students in optimizing their online learning experience.
Sharepoint: Leverage your expertise in Sharepoint to enhance collaboration and streamline document management.
Experience building and maintaining Microsoft Power Apps.
