Full Job Description

The IT Support Coordinator is responsible for dealing with 1^st and 2^nd line support for all parties within the 2plan Group.,

  • Provide 1^st and 2^nd line support 2plan staff and advisers.

  • Ensuring operational IT equipment is configured and functions correctly.

  • Applying security and patch updates where appropriate.

  • Managing digital assets and ensuring backups are implemented for advisers.

  • Management of support ticket work queues

  • Managing issues/risks and escalating as appropriate

  • Working with 3^rd party software vendors to aid support issue resolution.

    No specific qualifications needed, At least 1 year of 1^st line technical support/helpdesk

  • Knowledge of IT hardware and software configurations


  • Knowledge:

    A good understanding of IT Infrastructure and IT Operations

    Demonstrates a good understanding of our application systems within core operations, the business areas supported and at a high level how application components integrate

    To have a good understanding of 2plan group, aims, objectives and goals. Maintaining awareness of industry trends / new technologies

    Technical skill set will include:

    Must Have:
  • Microsoft Windows Family

  • Microsoft Active Directory

  • System Monitoring tools

  • Office 365 Suite of products / services

  • Asigra Backup software


  • Nice To Have:
  • Microsoft SQL Administration

  • Microsoft Azure

  • Batch processes

  • Salary - up to £27,000

  • Bonus scheme - on target bonus - 7.5%
